What to Expect

The sales team at Maytag Mountain Ranch wants to make your visit as informative as possible. Our intent is to show you the ranch, and all of its amenities, in a relaxed atmosphere. For a typical visit, we ask that our guests spend a night or two at one of our luxurious guest cabins (the cabins are provided at no charge). We want to give our guests a chance to really experience the ranch and all it has to offer.

With this in mind, we usually set aside some time to show you the ranch and the available homesteads. It’s a large ranch, and can be a bit overwhelming. So we try and break up the property tour into two different sessions. Each of these tours lasts about two hours. We also try and set aside time to answer your questions. During your visit, we get together a couple of times for lunch and dinner. This gives you the opportunity to sit down with Russ Maytag, and some of the professional staff, for an informal question and answer period.

How you use the rest of the time at the ranch is really up to you. Experience the ranch, know what it’s like to wake up to fresh eggs, take an early morning or late evening ride, fish our many ponds or streams, or perhaps take time to explore the area.
